Popular YouTuber Tries to Develop Overwatch's Perfect "Wombo Combo"

It's pretty genius in theory.

In Overwatch, a well-timed ultimate ability can change the tide of an entire round. Unfortunately, you can't just toss one out and hope for the best. The only way to do any real damage is to be smart about it. There's no better way to do that than to combo your Ults with other team members. If done correctly, the result can be absolutely devastating.

Alternately, you could risk a ban and try your hand at cheating.

Recently, popular YouTuber, Mr. Fruit Gaming Channel, tried to implement the perfect "wombo combo" of Ults in Overwatch. Fruit, along with his band of merry men, got together with a specific team comp with a single goal, get a guaranteed Team Kill (total enemy wipe out) with a well-coordinated ult.

To accomplish this task, Fruit built a team of Zarya, Reinhardt, D.VA, Sombra, Lucio, and Ana. The proposed chain followed a specific order. Lucio's Sound Barrier makes sure everyone stays alive. Zarya's Gravity Surge pulls all enemies together. Sombra's EMP stops all enemy attempts to counter or escape. Reinhardt's Earthshatter stuns all of the enemies. Finally, D.VA sends in her Nuke to instantly kill every member of the opposing team. Ana's role is simply to help keep everyone healed so they can pull this off.

Check out the video below to see the attempts in action.

Unfortunately, it seems the combination is a bit rusty in practice. The most Fruit was able to kill with this method was three. Other than that, the only successful attempts were against AI components. Maybe this method just takes a bit of practice to get right. On the other hand, maybe it's just not feasible to guarantee a team kill, regardless of how perfect your ult combo is.
