Pokemon Sun and Moon Starters Show Evolved Forms

Nintendo has been releasing a steady stream of Pokemon Sun and Moon trailers in the weeks coming up to its release next month, and we've been watching the game expand and grow in scope and magnitude, whetting the appetites of every Pokemon fan who can't wait to get their hands on a real Pokemon game, rather than the deluded-yet-functional mess of Pokemon Go. This latest trailer, however, is perhaps the most important one yet: not only does it show you the evolution of your starter Pokemon (finally making a certain seal a viable choice in the process), but it also introduces a new feature allowing you to enslave the Pokemon in your PC box to exploit for profit!

Finally, about time those parasites be useful for something!



So yes, they all look pretty neat. Brionne is especially cute, though, enough to make me reconsider my own starter choice. There's also the introduction of islands, where your box Pokemon can interact with wild Pokemon, and get you rewards and items depending on how you choose to 'play' with them. There's also a new social plaza, and the return of mega-evolution, in case you thought that wasn't coming back.

Anyway. We'll probably get a few more of these trailers before the game comes out for good, so, who knows? Maybe we'll even see the final evolutions of these three cuties before then. Fingers crossed--I can't wait to see how they make them look horrifying, as Nintendo has historically done.
