Pokemon Sun and Moon Now Compatible with Pokemon Bank

So it's easier now to catch em' all.

Pokémon Sun and Moon have been out for a good while now, which is great and all, but the game up until this point has suffered from a massive limitation: namely, it was not compatible with the Pokémon Bank, the massive online depository where people could send their Pokémon for safe keeping, and to bring with them to future games, or certain past games.

Well, that has now been remedied, and the latest two Pokémon games can now link up to the Pokémon Bank. This means you can transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, White 2, and even the virtual console version of Red and Blue, and send them to X, Y, Alpha Ruby and Sapphire, and of course, Sun and Moon.

Or you could just use it to store a lot of Pokemon. 100 boxes for ya, even if that’s not the big draw.

It’s worth note that if you use the Pokemon Bank between now and October 7th (so no rush), you’ll get a special Z-Crystal for Mewtwo, which will allow him to perform the Genesis Supernova if he’s learned psychic.

Oh, and it costs five bucks a year to use, so, be aware of that before you start transferring Pokemon.
