The Switch may be coming out in a few months, but we can't exactly forget about the Wii U, can we? Maybe.

Well, this popular classic, which debuted on the Nintendo 64, will be heading to the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow, January 5, 2017.

This title, which launched in Japan and Europe not too long ago, will cost $9.99. Also note that the Wii Virtual Console version is compatible on the Wii U. However, the Wii U port will be compatible with the Wii U GamePad, meaning that players can take pictures with the GamePad but won't be able to take advantage of the gyroscope. Aww...

Will the sales of the Wii U virtual console release determine whether or not a sequel will be in development? Probably not, but one can only hope.
