The Pokémon Company International had some big news this morning regarding one of their new hit games on the Nintendo Switch; Pokémon Quest will now be available for free on the App Store and Google Play. This fun loving action RPG has already hit over a million downloads on the Switch and now has the chance to be even more mobile on your cell phone or tablet.
Developed by GAME FREAK inc., Pokémon Quest puts players onto Tumblecube Island where you might notice a Minecraftian vibe, in fact even the Pokémon are cubes. The island is packed full of fun adventures to go on, treasures to find, wild Pokémon to battle and special bate to cook to capture new Pokémon to join your team.
The battle mechanics of the game are simple tap controls that are easy to pick up by anyone, this is not your typical turn based Pokémon game. Each Pokémon can become part of your own Pokémon dream team with up to three to defeat the most challenging foes and even using power stones to customize you Pokémon the way you want. The game also has a base camp for players to decorate with fun collectibles and some of these collectibles can provide in game benefits for your journey.
