So far, we've heard about the release dates and prices of Virtual Reality headsets, including the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Now it's time for Sony. Today, it has been announced that the PlayStation VR will be launching this October in North America for $399 and in the UK for £[/size]349.99, making the price a lot lower than the Rift. Pre-orders will begin tonight (better get wallets ready). There are over 230 developers working on the device, and more than 50 games will be ready near release. Not only that, but you can use the headset to play all PlayStation 4 games in a virtual environment, which is a feature titled Cinematic Mode. It's also important to note that the PSVR will require the PlayStation Camera, which retails for $60, but can be purchased for a little cheaper.

Next, it has also been announced that those who purchase a PSVR system will receive a Demo Disc featuring a number of experiences from the launch line-up. Finally, EA Games and Lucasfilm will be creating a Star Wars Battlefront game exclusively for VR.

Will you be grabbing the PSVR, knowing this? If you're still unconvinced, maybe these two trailers will help you:
