PlayStation Plus October Free Game List

We are reaching a new month, and with that come new games on the PlayStation Plus free game list. The list for October may be the best one I've seen yet!

October's game of the month will be Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Having released almost exactly two years ago, The Phantom Pain received almost entirely 9s and 10s from reviewers, with many claiming it to be one of the best Metal Gear Solid games ever. It is a big surprise to see it is as part of the free game list.

Next on the roster is less of a surprise, but an equally enjoyable title. The Amnesia Collection is a combo pack of the extremely well-known horror title Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its less popular successor Amnesia: Machine for Pigs. The Amnesia games paved the way for the idea of a non-combative horror game, and coming next month they both will be free with PlayStation Plus. Good luck playing them alone.

Lastly, Thats You! is leaving PlayStation Plus on October 24. A group party game where you and your friends play games and answer questions about each other from their smartphone. If this sounds like something you would like, the window of opportunity to get it free is starting to close.
