A recent study has shown that video games actually can improve a person's dreams. Though many will state that video games induce violent tendencies in people (specifically with children), researchers are skeptical of the viewpoint and believe that it has more to do with frustration rather than the game itself. The most significant part of the study shows that gaming can actually improve your dreams by allowing for a greater amount of Lucid Dreaming, meaning the dreamer can control his actions in the dream. Playing video games can also improve eyesight and focus on whatever task is at hand, according to the same study.
I mean, I'd believe it. Like I had mentioned in a previous article about video games not pertaining to violence but to victory and loss, it's pretty much just about basic human emotion. And I can only imagine that your focus increases because whenever you play a game, you tend to have a singular objective, and you'll do ANYTHING to get there. If it takes kicking a kid in the shin, stealing his ice cream and feeding it to your dog, you'll tend to do it all in that order just so you can get gold on that stage.
Goodnight, sweet gaming prince. Dream of curbstomping scrubs.
