Over the past few months I have done a lot of interviews, and in many of them, I said we hoped to be out of Early Access six months after we first launched. I've come to realize that restricting the window to a specific month could hinder us from delivering a fully featured game and/or lead to disappointment within the community if the launch deadline is not met.
To people who actually play the game, this is not the least bit shocking. Battlegrounds still has major optimization issues at this point in time, and it's far from being a complete, polished game. Bluehole has made millions since PUBG launched a few months ago, and they are definitely aware that if they put enough time and money in, they could have a truly amazing battle royale. Let's just hope that this isn't another case of an early access game staying unreleased for years to come.
