It's that time of the month when we report on yet another PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds milestone. Last time we reported on a PUBG milestone, it was when they reached 500,00 concurrent players; the most out of any non-valve game. The only games that are able to maintain higher number at the moment are still Dota 2 and CSGO.
Now, according to Steamspy statistics (via Metro UK), PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has surpassed seven million copies sold. This is not a surprise since it's the only thing anyone is streaming on Twitch anymore, and it's consistently stayed in the Steam top sellers since its initial release back in March.
Another interesting statistic is that PUBG has already surpassed it's 500,000 concurrent players milestone, and now sits at just over 600k concurrent players. That's right. PUBG's player-base is rapidly increasing, and it's not slowing down anytime soon, especially with vaulting on the way.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is an addictive experience, to say the least. Win or loss, pride or shame, we all come back: sometimes after a well need post rage-quit nap. If you're an absolute PUBG god and you need some extra difficulty (god forbid), then check out the latest trend to hit Battlegrounds. The Airdrop Challenge:
