PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds continues to be a success story for small developers and early access titles. It seems like it reaches another milestone every couple of weeks, and with more content constantly arriving on a monthly basis, it's hard to imagine a point in time where the hype will cool down.

Brendan Greene, aka PlayerUnknown himself, has tweeted out an image showing that PUBG is now the most played "non-valve" game on steam. Basically, it has the third largest concurrent player base out of any game on Steam at the moment, only being beaten by Dota 2 and CSGO.

This is definitely a huge accomplishment, but it doesn't seem like any game could possibly beat the numbers of Dota 2 or CSGO. That being said, PUBG has consistently stayed at the top of Twitch's most viewed games. It's just a matter of time until another milestone is reached.
