Play Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Free This Weekend

Okay, so you decided not to pick up Middle-earth: Shadow of War for a few bucks back during the summer sale? (Though it is on sale on PSN at the moment).

Well, that's okay, because you can play for free! And then buy it because it's still on sale! Currently, the critically acclaimed title is on Steam and Xbox One free of charge for two days (i.e. this weekend).

All you need to do is install the game, et voila! You have access for the weekend. However, if you fall in love with the title, you can always purchase Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition for $4.00.

Do note that the GOTY Edition of Middle-earth and the previously available Premium Edition are the same product.

And - oh right - some news to go with that: there is a Nemesis Forge update! What in the world does that mean? Well, according to the Steam Update:

"Forge your Nemesis and discover your greatest Ally in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor now; continue their story October 10 in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

Nemesis Forge available only with purchase of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War on PC and subject at all times to the WB Terms of Service.

Nemesis Forge is not available in Japan."
