I'm a sucker for artsy games. It's one of the reasons I consider Gone Home one of the best games ever made. So it's no surprise that Jason Rohrer's new game caught my eye. His past games have been experimental to say the least. And, this new one is no different. In Rohrer's new title, One Hour One Life, players take part in ongoing generations in an advancing society. And yes, that means other players play your parents and children.
Warning: Crudely animated plumage ahead.
The main point of the game is that each player helps take another babystep in the society. By the end, players will have brought the game from the stone age to a technological wonderland. It won't be an easy task, though. Right now, there seem to be around 10,000 discoverable items between the start and end of One Hour One Life.
