Why not give it a shot?

Ghost Recon: Wildlands was generally well received by both critics and players alike, but it's kind of fallen off the radar as of late. The most PR it received was probably around the time that the Bolivian government wanted to shut down its development completely. Anyway, thanks to Ubisoft's promotional efforts, a five hour free trial of Wildlands is now available on both PS4 and Xbox One.

The five-hour trial includes both single-player and co-op online play. You can experience the game to the fullest, and five hours is plenty of time to figure or whether or not Wildlands is worth it for you. Although, if you still can't determine whether you like it or not, you can, of course, check out a review, especially if you intend to purchase it on PC.

Before you buy, check out this review. Pun intended.
