Platinum Trophy on Horizon Zero Dawn Gets Players Free Gifts

For those of you that love hunting for trophies, you might have a little bit of an incentive to work harder. Sony is handing out free stuff to players that get a Platinum trophy on Horizon Zero Dawn, much like they did for Bloodborne. A little while ago, players who got a Platinum trophy would get an exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn theme for their PS4, which is exactly what they did for Bloodborne. Now, reports of a new gift have surfaced and people are receiving it every day.

This new gift is an exclusive avatar for your PSN profile. Nothing too crazy, but hey, it's still something that is free and exclusive. You might as well at least try to get it! You'll get the theme as well, but some players are getting a little angry. It seems as though Sony is rewarding some players, but not all Platinum trophy holders are getting their gifts. Maybe it's just a slight delay and they will get their theme and avatar eventually, but I don't think people are too thrilled about waiting.

Regardless, this was a nice little way for Sony to reward the players who work hard and go the extra mile for their games. Hopefully we see more giveaways like this in the future, and I'm sure that the prizes will remain the same as time goes on.
