Sega has confirmed that Phantasy Star Online 2 is still going to come stateside sometime in the future.

News of this comes from Sega’s Twitter, where the company responded to a fan inquiring about when the next update on the game’s North American release would be, as it had been nearly a year since the last update on the game’s localization progress.

PSO2 is still delayed. SEGA is currently working on bringing PSO2 to the West and will update as soon as we know more.

Phantasy Star Online 2 came to PC back in 2012 and was subsequently ported to the PlayStation Vita the following year, and mobile devices earlier in 2014.The last game in the Phantasy Star series to come to the states was Phantasy Star Portable 2 for the PlayStation Portable in September of 2010.
