People With Joy-Con Issues are Receiving Free Gifts

A little while ago I did a small piece on the faulty Joy-Con controllers people were getting with their new Nintendo Switch. If you have no idea what that means, basically some of the controllers will lose connection to the console for up to 5 seconds, which is a pretty substantial amount of time in the world of gaming. It was not clear how many people were dealing with this issue, but Nintendo is resolving the problem very quickly.

In addition to helping people out with the controllers, Nintendo has also started giving out gifts to people that are dealing with this problem. The gifts are a little different and they seem to be fairly randomized. So far, it looks like Nintendo is handing out Switch notebooks, Switch folders, Nintendo stickers of their hit games, small portable speakers, and even an extra year of warranty on their console.

Obviously this is a problem that people don't want to have, but it's good that Nintendo is really trying to make sure that their customers come first. They want to show the consumers that they value their business and they are truly sorry for the issue they had to deal with. These definitely are not big ticket items, but its cool to be able to say that Nintendo sent you some free stuff and fixed your Switch at the same time.
