When asked by one eager fan if the game would have it’s own voice-chat client, the response was as vanilla and inoffensive as humanly possible:
"You can choose your favorite third party software to communicate with friends on PC.”
So no, there won’t be an in-game voice software system for the PC, which is weird, because in the latest Battlefield game made by DICE, there was, in fact, in-voice chat systems. Regardless, that’s one feature the PC version will lack that the platform versions will have, meaning the consoles have a rare one-up over their PC Overlord. After all, most gamers will use third party software to communicate with friends anyway--the whole point of an in-client chat is for commanders to take control and feel like they’re commanding an actual battle. Kind of hard to do while texting.
That's not all we've learned over twitter. Recently we've also learned about a capture the flag style 'Droid Run' mode, a 6v6 'Cargo' mode, and the 'Hero Hunt' mode.
A lot to look forward to... assuming it all makes it into the final game without having to dish out extra for DLC. That might break this hype horse, EA, so watch out.
