3.1 is just around the corner, thank goodness. Let's face it: Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward has exhausted itself for many players and is in desperate need for an update. Well, 3.1 has been explored within a recent Live Letter (of which you can read the translation here). But now, the official trailer for Patch 3.1, titled "As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness," has been released today in anticipation for its November 10 launch date.

Great, just in time for Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. So many games, but personally speaking, I'm just looking forward to Rise of the Tomb Raider and 3.1.

Check out the trailer below:

Patch 3.1 will include a myriad of additions and improvements, ranging from the implementation of the main scenario featuring the newcomer Krile, the addition of the 24-man raid "Void Ark," and the new Exploratory Missions that are fit for everyone.

What will also make its way into Patch 3.1 is the Gold Saucer attraction Lords of Verminion, a once-April-Fool's-joke-turned-truth. And no, there will no be unfair advantages between minions, so don't freak out. Yoshi P and the crew have assured otherwise throughout most of the Live Letter, in fact.

And we can't forget the awesome Pharos Sirius (Hard), Saint Mocianne's Arboretum, and the Vanu Vanu beast tribe quests. Of course, there is plenty more associated with housing, crafting, etc., but it's just best to check out the summary of the Live Letter. Look forward to the patch notes on November 9, 2015, and in the meantime, try not to explode from anticipation.
