The Odd Gentlemen is striving to reproduce the magic that is King's Quest, and it looks to be coming along quite well. Today, the first of four "behind the scenes" trailers has been released, titled "The Vision."
The video introduces the people, passions, and techniques that serve as the driving force of the King's Quest reboot, detailing the team's excitement to recreate the the experience.
From the game clips in the video, you can clearly tell that we are in for a treat. The game is absolutely gorgeous from top to bottom, from the art style and the heart-wrenching score. I can completely believe that it will be the game the gaming community is hoping for.
The game will "reimagine all the charm, humor, puzzles, exploration and sense of wonder that made the franchise so magical when it first arrived thirty years ago." The story depicts an elder King Graham - the hero of the original King's Quest games - who shares his legendary stories with both his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, and the player.
The first chapter of King's Quest will arrive in the fall of this year as a digital download only, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
