Summer is here and finally, the Overwatch Summer Games are available to play, at least for some people they are. Overwatch players in the UK, Europe, and United States are experiencing major issues, rendering them unable to play.

Across PS4, Xbox One, and PC, 53% of players are experiencing server connection issues, while 32% are experiencing general in-game issues according to Down Detector. This could definitely be caused by a huge influx of log-ins due to the highly anticipated Summer Games content such as the brand new skins, and fan favorite Lucio Ball game type.

In response to the overwhelming issues caused by the Summer Games update, Blizzard has sent out a tweet to calm the nerves of excited Overwatch fans:

We are aware of an issue that is affecting gameplay, and are working on a resolution. We appreciate your patience!.
