Perhaps the largest addition in this update is the new Browser Server, which allows players to actually scan for games they’d like to join, rather than hit the quick match button and pray they don’t wind up in a game with six Hanzos. It also acts an extension of the Custom game mode, giving you a wider range of customization options for your games.
"You can toggle switches and adjust sliders for game modes, hero abilities, movement speed, health, damage, and much more. Not only that, once you've crafted your ruleset, the Game Browser lets you open it up to anyone, giving players from all over your region the chance to experience."
That’s pretty cool. In addition to the Browser Server, Blizzard is also making the Year of the Rooster event game mode, Capture the Flag, a permanent game mode, so you don’t have to feel bad if you missed that particular joy. You still have to feel bad if you missed Lucioball, though. That’s still a long ways from ever returning.
Anyway, you can check out all the patch notes here, if you want the full skivvy. Otherwise, good luck out there.
