Overwatch's new friendly neighborhood tank is finally leaving the PTR and launching on the live client today. Orisa has been tried and tested on the public test realm since March 2nd. She's a robotic centaur looking tank with mid-range abilities, and she's aimed to be another "anchor" tank similar to Reinhardt. Unlike Reinhardt, she has mid-range combat capabilities with her primary fire, able to dish out bullets for an extensive amount of time. She has a crowd control ability, a damage reduction ability and an ultimate that boosts nearby team-mates. She has a lot of potential, and it will be interesting to see how she fits into competitive team compositions.

While she does launch today, Blizzard has locked her from being used in competitive play for the first week. This is most likely an attempt to let Orisa ease into the game while allowing players to get used to playing as and against her in a casual setting. Other than Orisa launching, some more exciting changes are being made to Lucio in the public test realm. Blizzard is attempting to make Lucio feel more useful while also making him feel less of a "must pick" hero in the competitive scene. I don't think we'll see the Lucio changes leave the PTR for quite some time as he's a pretty essential support hero.

Lucio Changes (PTR):

Sonic Amplifier: Projectile speed increased from 40 to 50; Alternate fire now considers vertical orientation when knocking targets back.
Crossfade: Song's area-of-effect radius decreased from 30 meters to 10 meters (a temporary in-game visual has been added to illustrate this radius, only visible to Lúcio and his teammates).
Heal Song: Healing-per-second has been increased by 50 per cent (also applies to Lúcio's Amp It Up ability).
Sound Barrier: Radius decreased from 30 meters to 20 meters.
Wall Ride: Movement speed increased by 30 per cent when wall riding; Lúcio now receives a burst of speed when leaping off a wall.
