Hey, speaking of Battleborn's more successful, better-dressed cousin: Overwatch!
Did you log in recently and discover you had 11 free loot boxes waiting for you that you didn't remember buying? Did you hold off on opening them, because you heard horror stories of how strict Blizzard is being for cheaters and exploiters in the game and were worried that all that free swag would get you pegged as a filthy hacker? Well, worry not and open without fear, ladies and gentleman: Blizzard is aware of the strange bug and has given its blessing for people to open them without regret.
See, what happened, is that the South East Asian server was getting DDoS'd the heck out of in the past few weeks, and Blizzard was offering those players an 11 loot crate award for their patience. But a bug in the code caused it to be shared with other users, even those who weren't exactly from the South of Asia.
While we don't know if the bug has been fixed, Blizzard has given permission for people to crack those babies open.
That's good, though. I know there exists certain developers who would absolutely try to take that loot back, so it's nice that Blizzard is being cool about this. Enjoy all the extra tags and voice clips you never really wanted!
