After a few months of waiting and a half dozen leaks, Overwatch's Halloween update has landed. Just like with the previous Summer Games event, there is a slew of new, cosmetic content. There are new skins for many of the characters as well as a few voice lines, emotes, and victory poses. Of course, there's also a new game mode. The Summer Games had Lucio Ball, and Halloween has Horde Mode.

There is one big change in this event, though. The special Summer Games loot were only available by chance. There was no way to purchase any of the event goodies. However, a portion of the Overwatch community cried thousands of tears on their keyboards in response. And because of how much players complained about not being handed everything during the Summer Games, they can now purchase Halloween items. The catch it, they are priced at triple everything else. So at least that.
