Blizzard's Overwatch has seen a ton of updates, changes, and additional content since its recent launch. Players have gotten nerfs, buffs, a new character, an Olympic event, new modes, and more. Now, we can throw in a brand new map. At Gamescom, Blizzard revealed the plans for Eichenwalde.
It looks strangely peaceful.
Eichenwalde is set just outside of Stuttgard, Germany. It will be a new hybrid map: combining assault and escort game styles. Attacking players will attempt to reach the remains of Balderich von Alder, the leader of the Crusaders during the Omnic Crisis. Of course, defending players are tasked with stopping them. It is unsure when the new addition will land, but considering how fast Ana joined the fight, expect it fairly soon.
