This month, Blizzard is holding a free weekend of Overwatch for all PS4 and Xbox One players. It will allow players access to all maps, heroes, and every game mode available. If a player gets a lot of levels and loot, the progress will be saved. Should that person decide to buy a copy of Overwatch, their current stats will be applied to the account and they'll pick up right where they left off. Trophies will not be awarded for free players and even if you reach level 25, you won't be able to take part in the 2nd Season of Competitive Play

If you play on PS4, don't worry. You don't even need a PS Plus subscription to try out the free weekend. Overwatch will be free for every single PS4 player, regardless of subscriptions. For Xbox One, players must have an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to join the action.

The weekend will start up on Friday, September 9th at 2:00pm EST and will end on Monday, September 12th at 7:00pm EST. Make sure you get your consoles ready. This is a free opportunity you definitely don't want to miss!
