Over 9000 Zombies Invade Steam En Masse

Do you love Zombies? Do you love Tower Defense? Well, you're in luck with a cool Steam game that we just noticed called Over 9000 Zombies. It just left Steam Early Access and has now launched in full.

The game itself is basically a top-down arcade style shooter in Tower Defense style of which we have been covering a bit lately if you hadn't read.

You'll be able to blast, bomb and incinerate countless hordes of zombies at night and build up your weaponry, turrets and the like during the day. The game features many undead AI powered by a "Zombie Swarm Intelligence" that continually launch themselves in frenzied attacks which increase in intensity over time. The types of zombies you'll see include but not limited to the following;

• Flaming zombies
• Highly poisonous zombies
• Zombie animals
• Giant eyeballs
• Risen remains of political figures (Hello zombie Reagan)

As for the type of weaponry, here's a short list;

• Shotguns
• Pistols
• Assault rifles
• Flame throwers
• Mini-guns
• And more

Over 9000 Zombies also includes a nifty Map Editor which lets you crease your own arena and strengthen your fortified bases. Basically it's up to you on how hard or how easy the game can be in that regard. Social features include the ability to share your map with friends and have them vote on which is best and speaking of social, there is a multiplayer option which lets you play with up to 3 friends of which Loren Lemcke, Head Sniper mentioned;

Many zombies have already been slain and many survivors have already perished, but now that the undead horde has arrived in full force, the human race must call upon everyone that remains to take up arms. Without your help, everything humanity has struggled for will be consumed by the crowds of the undead!
