A while back, we learned that Universal Studios Japan was expecting to open Super Nintendo World by the year 2020. And if that wasn't exciting enough, we found out more recently that there are plans to bring the new theme park to Universal Studios in Hollywood and Orlando. Finally, we will all be able to experience the joys of the Mushroom Kingdom in person. There truly is no better theme park idea for the gaming community.
Now, we have our first look at what Super Nintendo World will look like. Below is an image of what park goers can expect to see when Super Nintendo World opens up in Universal Studios Japan.
Okay, now that's impressive
There's definitely a lot going on, and it's all good. Given, the entire park seems to only focus on the Mario franchise instead of all of Nintendo, but no one really expected any different. It seems the entire Mushroom Kingdom is represented in this early image. We can see Peach's Castle as well as Bowser's. There are the iconic landscapes, items, and buildings scattered between the two castles as well. You can even see little mascots greeting park goers as they arrive. True, the image does seem very optimistic about the upcoming park, but we've definitely seen more elaborate work done before. Anyway, if you haven't been excited about Super Nintendo World, now is as good a time as any to start.
