One of the many surprises from Microsoft's E3 press conference was a visually stunning 2D platformer that at first glance I could have sworn was a game running on the UbiArt engine. Despite having some elements that looked straight out of Rayman Legends, it turns out Ori and The Blind Forest is from a new Indie studio called Moon Studios. While being confirmed for Xbox One in the conference, it has since been revealed the game is indeed coming to PC as well.
Another interesting tidbit is that Moon Studios doesn't actually have an office, rather it is a group of developers that collaborate from working at home. The game certainly looks gorgeous, and along with recent games like Child of Light and Valiant Hearts, I'm very happy to see 2D animated games making a strong return.
