Ubisoft announced earlier today that Trackmania Turbo will be hitting open beta from 9 am EST on March 18 to 9 am EST on March 21. To enter, all you need to do is to download the client from your console's respective store.

Though console owners will only be able to participate in the beta, PC users won't be completely left out.

According to an Ubisoft spokesperson:

"As Trackmania is historically a franchise that has been built on PC, we wanted to focus special attention on our infrastructures on consoles to ensure the best possible experience to all players at launch. The objective of this open beta is to stress test these infrastructures with a large number of players right before launch to ensure the smoothest launch possible."

PC players will be able to, in turn, be able to partake in a free trial that will be available at launch. It is unknown as to whether or not the trial will be timed or not. But hopefully, if it's anything like the trial of the original Trackmania, then we could be looking forward to a generous trial.

Trackmania Turbo will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC March 25, 2016.
