Better not be a mobile announcement.

Bravely Default is a wonderful JRPG that borrows from the past and manages to blend it with the modern. The 3DS-exclusive title sold like hot cakes, leaving a mark on the JRPG timeline.

Then the second title of the franchise, Bravely Second: End Layer, released onto the Nintendo 3DS. It fared a slightly worse in terms of reception, but overall, it is a great entry. So will we see anything more for the franchise?

Perhaps. Recently, Bravely Default's official Twitter account released a special illustration of Edea Lee, decked out in an adorable outfit to celebrate the original title's 4th anniversary. To the top-left is Airy, while on the bottom you'll notice Ringabel, Agnes, and Tiz in doll form.

According to the translation of the tweet, brought to you by Gematsu:

"It's Bravely's four-year anniversary! We apologize as news has been scant recently. There may be something soon....!?"

Hopefully, we'll have another solid entry to the series, though people are speculating that it would be, at best, a mobile phone title.
