Alright, so we have a lot of announcements headed your way. What announcements, might I be referring to? Well, earlier today, we borne witness to the latest Nintendo Direct, which highlighted Mario Tennis Aces, but... but, we were in for a huge surprise. Quite a few huge ones, in fact.
Well, while I would spoil it all at once, I rather just focus all energies of this article into Project Octopath Traveler, a highly anticipated JRPG title from Square Enix. Well, now it is called Octopath Traveler.
And... well the fact that it has a release date. Nintendo has announced that it will launch on July 13 (just four days after my birthday, yahoo!). And, like most games, a special edition will be available, which will include: a real cloth map, a pop-up book, soundtrack CD, and a replica coin based on the game's in-game currency. This edition, dubbed Wayfarer edition, will launch on the same day as the standard edition.
But that's not all...
Producer Masahi Takahashi revealed some details, as well as two additional characters to the roster: Tressa and Alfyn. Additionally, you'll have the ability to have multiple jobs per character whenever you're in battle.
So now we have it. A release date. Look forward to the launch of Octopath Traveler on July 13, 2018. In the meantime, check out the demo when you can.
