Are you currently shopping for a laptop? You may just want to wait a little longer. Apparently, Nvidia is preparing to incorporate full-fledged desktop graphics cards into notebooks. Later this year, the company will launch a range of Pascal-based GPUs for notebooks, and they won't be labeled with M. Here's the thing: this move is important, because mobile (M) cards were always significantly weaker than their desktop counterparts, so to have a desktop grade card is going to be a game changer for many laptop gamers. Apparently, the notebook versions of the GTX 1070 and 1080 will feature a slightly lower TDP but bear the same standard components, including the core configurations, memory controllers and boost clock speeds.

Of course, the strategy has already been implemented with the GTX 980, but it's nice to Nvidia continuing the trend. The only issue I see here is that the notebooks are going to be a little bulky...

Anyway, if you're considering a laptop and have a good chunk of dough, now's the time to wait just a little longer.
