If there's one thing that people love to watch on Twitch or YouTube, it's Minecraft. Whether players are messing around with a Pokemon mod on their server, or just playing the vanilla version, people have been going crazy for this game since its release. You would think that the community would eventually die down, but it doesn't show any signs of stopping. While Minecraft was never a difficult game to stream or record, it just got a whole lot easier! Nvidia Shadowplay now supports OpenGL games, like Minecraft! This means that instead of using third-party software to record or stream gameplay, you can now use something much more simple.

Shadowplay will allow you to take screenshots, record videos, stream to Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook, and if you end up doing something awesome while you aren't recording, you can save an instant replay. It can capture 4K quality videos and images and can be activated with the simple push of a button. This is the first time that Minecraft will be available on Shadowplay, and it should be a very smooth transition for those of you that record or stream gameplay.

Keep in mind, Shadowplay is only available on Nvidia graphics cards. If you have an Nvidia card, or you're looking to buy one, make sure you check to see if it allows you to use Shadowplay. While many of the newer cards do support the feature, there are plenty of lower end graphics cards that do not support Shadowplay. If you're a Minecraft gamer and you have Shadowplay on your rig, make sure you update your GeForce Experience and go hit the blocks! Check out the video below for the official announcement!
