Sooner than expected.

It doesn't feel like that long since No Man's Sky released their last update. But already the team at Hello Games is back with more for the space exploration game. Introducing version 1.75: Vision.

Vision focuses on the exploratory side of the game, introducing more biomes, more varied color palettes, new animals and plants, and special collectibles and resources. You can even dig up alien bone fossils.

All of the displayed changes are as follows
  • New Anomalous Flora
The plants are weirder now. Sure they were weird before, but there's more variety to the types of weirdness. The example used was an odd, spotted mushroom looking thing. Further, in the video, we also see a tubular plant expanding a balloon until it exploded.
  • Greater Palette Variety
This was a common complaint among the community. Often times the various planet biomes had the same looking color palette, golden fields and green toxins. Now they're back to having some wacky color combos. In the trailer, we see a planet of purple grass and brown trees.
  • Collectible Exploration Trophies
When you explore strange lands, you can collect rare artifacts that resemble that planet. You may have come across a planet full of what looked like underwater mines, but made of bone. You can collect those and put them in your base.
  • Procedural Crash Sites
Those crashed freighters don't all look the same anymore.
  • New Fauna
You can probably guess what this means. The only example given, however, appeared to be creatures that dug underground, revealing their position with spikes emerging as they dig.
  • Salvageable Scrap
You can find debris and other scraps, which can be salvaged and sold
  • 5 x Planetary Biomes
More biomes! None were listed, but one looks like a toxic, sporous type.
  • Corrupted Sentinel Drones
They didn't show us what this was, only listed it. So it's not clear what this means at this time.
  • Rare Lucrative Skeletons
You can now dig up alien bones under the ground. It's not clear what this entails, but they sure look cool.
  • New Emotes
Again, they didn't show us any, but only listed the feature.
  • Global Community Mission
When a community works together to complete a global community mission, their overall progress will be shared with each other.
  • Rainbows
Exactly what it says on the tin. Rainbows are going to appear now.
  • Increased Anomalous Planets
Planets like the Virus ones and [REDACTED], more of those.
  • Storm-Activated Crystals
Rare materials will spawn during storms and other dangerous climates, giving more reason to explore them.
  • Launchable Fireworks
Instead of those far less interesting, non-launchable kind.
  • New Base Parts
They say this but didn't show any.

The Vision update will release on November 22, Thursday. Consider it a Thanksgiving gift! For more information, check out the No Man's Sky website. No Man's Sky is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
