A while ago, I made the mention that Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It did quite well in terms of scoring, averaging out to 70 percent on Metacritic. The heroine-focused 2D crossover fighter has done well on the PlayStation 4, but now it's time for the PC to shine. XSEED has been giving the PC so much love lately, and for good reason. The PC has been growing a lot as a platform over the past several years. So, fans of fighters should be pleased to know that Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will be hitting Steam on December 8, 2016. From the studio behind the Arcana Heart series, the title offers a balanced game engine, awesome artwork, and blazingly fast fights.
The PC version of the title will feature content from the latest version of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions. All DLC from the console release, including the additional fighters Homura from Senran Kagura and Heart from Arcana Heart, will also be included. Furthermore, expect other changes from the original arcade version, which includes rebalanced characters, added victory poses and animated stage backgrounds. Not only that, but a brand new color palette will be offered to celebrate the PC release.
For those unaware, the fighter will feature easy-to-execute combos, cinematic cut-ins for special "Lethal Blaze" attacks, and assist mechanics that allow for combat between six characters at one time.
Expect characters from visual novel Nitroplus' arsenal, including Ein, Mora, Ruili, Al Azif, Saya, Ignis, Anna, Muramasa the 3rd, Kibanohara, Ethica, Saber, Ouka, and Super Sonico. Note that network play will be available on Windows PC.
Also expect the "Blast" system, which gives players the option to utilize one of three maneuvers that are capable of turning the tide: creating distance between characters, breaking an opponent's combo, and extending a player's combo beyond typical limits. These abilities will only be able to be used once per round.
Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will launch on December 8, 2016 on Steam. Be prepared for some Steam Achievements, cloud saving, and leaderboard support. And what will you be paying? Only $29.99, though there will be a 10 percent launch week discount for early adopters.
