Oh Nippon Ichi, your art-style never ceases, yet your games always differ one manner or another. Earlier today, the company teased a new dungeon RPG project, ominously titled "Refrain."

Refrain.jpg

As you can see here, the teaser comes in the form of a summer greeting card, with a beautiful image of a dark and dank entrance to a dungeon. Behind the photo is an additional photo of a fairly-lit room, with sketches of characters dotting the background. It seems that these characters are all female...

Editor's Note: I wonder if the project will involve an all-female cast.

Hopefully, the game will be revealed soon. Maybe at Gamescom?

Nonetheless, what do you think the game could entail? Well, at best, we can guess that it will be a dungeon crawler. But will there be a diverse cast of characters? Monsters? An impossible amount of HP? A heart-warming story or a story capable of stomping on the hearts of players? So many questions, so little time.
