I'd jump on it, if I were you.

What's E3 without special sales, huh?

I suppose E3 without special sales, but still.

Nevertheless, Nintendo has showered us a plethora of sales featuring games from both the 3DS and the Wii U! Here are some notable games with the sales prices attached:
  • Mario Party 10 (Original $49.99) - $34.99
  • Super Mario 3D World (Original $59.99) - $41.99
  • New Super Mario Bros. U (Original $59.99) - $41.99
  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Original $27.99) - $39.99
  • Super Mario 3D Land (Original $29.99) - $20.99
  • Hyrule Warriors (Original $59.99) - $41.99
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Original $49.99) - $34.99
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Original $39.99) - $27.99
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Original $29.99) - $20.99
  • Fire Emblem: Awakening (Original $39.99) - $27.99
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising (Original $34.99) - $24.49
  • Star Fox 64 3D (Original $39.99) - $27.99
Have to admit, it's still feels a little odd to combine hefty sale prices with Nintendo, but I wholly welcome it. There's a little bit of something for almost everyone from these catalogs. If you'd like to check the entire sale list or purchase these games, you can head over to Nintendo's E3 site.

Finally, we'd like to point out that that for one week only, Wii U owners are encouraged to try out exclusive demos featured from the Nindies@Home program on the eShop. If you try these indie titles out--and love them--you can save 15% on the game when it releases. Even if you don't even try the games out and instead just download them, you will still receive the discount. But what fun is that? To clarify, the same Nintendo Network ID must be linked between the Wii U and the eShop account in order for the discount to apply.

Nindies@Home will end on June 22 at 8:59 PST/11:59 EST.

Oh, you're curious about the games available, aren't you?

Well, you can try out the following:

Runbow - a fast-paced action party game with a unique color mechanic. Up to nine players race against each other as obstacles appear and disappear when the background changes vibrant colors.

Typoman - a two dimensional puzzle platformer that focuses on, you guessed it, typography! As the HERO, you must overcome a dark world with the power of environment altering with letters.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge - a new entry to the franchise that offers new platforming challenges and boss fights. It's actually the sequel to the original Mutant Mudds, as Max receives special intel that reveals the location of the original meteor impact site. Guess what comes out of that site? Mutant Mudds! Look forward to 40 brand new levels, specifically designed for super players.

Freedom Planet - a 16-bit indie title that features a cartoon-y atmosphere, boasting green cats and monster girls. To describe the game in one short sentence, Freedom Planet is a platformer featuring three characters with completely different moves.

Lovely Planet - an abstract First Person Shooter Gun Ballet, where you must shoot your way through five worlds and 100 levels.

Forma.8 - an action adventure title that features an exploration probe that is stranded on an alien planet. Despite being separated from its companions, forma.8 must recover an energy source way beneath the surface.

RIVE - a 2D shooter that involves metal wrecking and robot hacking. Notable features of RIVE are the 360 degree shooting and platforming action, as well as the ability to alter the behavior of robotic enemies by collecting and uploading hacks.

Soul Axiom - from the creators of Master Reboot, this adventure, first-person sci-fi title explores the darkest areas of your soul, where you discover new powers that will assist in your exploration. It comes with a compelling story-line with multiple outcomes.

EXTREME EXORCISM! - is a paranormal platformer where every move you make can cost you. You play as Mae Barrons, an extreme exorcist who is called upon when every other remedy to rid of the haunted is exhausted. What makes this pretty cool is that for each round you survive, a ghost will appear to mimic your every move from the round before. I guess in order to combat this, you need to rely on memorization of your previous actions in order to overcome these threats.

Some interesting indies to try out, so you better hop to it before the 22 of June!
