Nintendo-Themed Attractions to Open at Universal Studio Theme Parks

And now the jaw-dropper. Ready your underwear kids, cuz you might need a new pair soon.

You ever dream of going to a Nintendo Theme Park, the way they have those weird, illegitimate World of Warcraft and Angry Bird theme parks over in China? Well… keep dreaming, because while that isn’t happening yet, I am happy to announce that Nintendo is teaming up with Universal to put some Nintendo-themed attractions in the Universal Studios theme parks!

According to the official release:

“The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games. [Universal will create] spectacular, dedicated experiences based on Nintendo’s wildly popular games, characters and worlds.”

So while this won’t be it’s own dedicated Theme Park (which, I assume, Nintendo would build as one giant Mario-Party board, just to screw with us) it will have Nintnedo themed rides and experiences in select Universal Parks. Cool! What kind of rides can we expect?

...I don’t know! It’s all very vague right now, and we have no solid details about a timeframe or even what kind of games Nintendo will use. Still, this was pretty mind-blowing for me, and despite the lack of details I am pumped.
