Netflix arguably being the most popular out of all the streaming services is without a doubt part of people's daily routine, and being able to watch on your home console is definitely a plus. While the Switch does not have any agreements with Netflix or any other similar streaming media just yet, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime says that they have a plan for implementing these streaming services with the Switch in the future. How near in the future is yet to be announced.
"We built the Nintendo Switch to be a world-class gaming device, meaning we want you first and foremost to play games on the system and have an incredibly fun experience," Fils-Aime told the paper. "We're talking to a range of companies about other services, companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon - things that will come in time. In our view, these are not differentiators. What differentiates us is the way you play with the Nintendo Switch and what you can play. And that will continue to be our focus into the future as we continue driving this platform."
