According to Business Wire, Nintendo will apparently be running an ad for the first time ever during the Super Bowl.

I guess that Pokemon Super Bowl ad doesn't exactly count, since it was run by The Pokemon Company. The 30-second commercial, which has a 90-second version that can be viewed now, revolves around the launch of the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which will both launch on March 3.

Also, take a look at the book that appears in the commercial. I promise you that you'll receive a good chuckle out of it.

The song included in the commercial is "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, which premiered worldwide just yesterday. The commercial is scheduled to run during the game's fourth quarter on February 5.

The extended cut of the commercial showcases the system in a variety of location, showing off the Switch's capabilities as a portable machine.
