The Nintendo Switch has just received a new firmware update that is supposed to be addressing the issue of battery life. Some players have reported that their Switch no longer has a battery indicator present, so they have no idea when they have to charge their handheld device.

Nintendo has said that while this update should help the majority of people, it might not fix all consoles immediately. They're away of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Hopefully this update has fixed your Switch if you're having any issues with it, but if for some reason things are still messed up, I'm sure Nintendo will have the fix for you very soon.

Nintendo has been great about addressing the issues with their console and the customer support they provide is top-notch. People who had issues early one with their Joy-Con controller connectivity were given all of the support that they needed, as well as some free exclusive items to show Nintendo's apologetic nature.
