The Switch has been doing extremely well with releases since its debut, even with a slow start. Very little has disappointed the masses, and I was even surprised how much I enjoyed Mario & Rabbids. Now with the holidays coming to an end, they gave the fans one more gift: an update containing nine new releases to the online store.

The cream of the crop of these games is SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition, a turn-based shooter developed by Image & Form. This ultimate edition has been optimized for the Switch and includes the game's DLC, the "Outsider Campaign". If you like robot pirates, bullet bouncing trick shots, looting enemy ships, and upgrading abilities, then you will love this edition of Steamworld Heist. They also added a retro twist with Neo Geo also available. I am extremely excited to get my hands on this 1990s arcade-style fighting game.

The full list of games released for this update are as follows:
  • SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition
  • DragonFangZ - The Rose & Dungeon of Time
  • Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure
  • Arcade Archives Double Dragon
  • ACA Neo Geo King of Fighters 96
  • Mecho Tales
  • Energy Cycle
  • Sparkle Unleashed
  • Tactical Mind
