In conjunction with dieting, that is.

Every few years, a new fitness-based video game is released by a major developer. But do they actually help? According to one user, Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure has proven results in only 30 days.

We're talking about Migui Minaj, who managed to reduce their Body Mass Index from "overweight" to "normal" in only 30 days, attributing the success partially to playing Ring Fit Adventure for about 25 minutes each day. Minaj reported this success on their Facebook, which was initially reported on by Nintendo Soup.

Minaj remarks at how effective the game was at helping them lose weight, "especially if there is a right diet." To show proof of this effort, Minaj also posted a before and after image. He certainly looks in better shape.

It's important to note that he mentioned a proper diet. Even the best exercise programs won't be effective if you eat unhealthy food regularly.

Either way, Minaj has our congratulations. Getting fit is never easy and we're glad that video games helped make the process a bit more fun. Maybe we should get Ring Fit Adventure, ourselves.
