Nintendo Now Allows Users to Submit Game Reviews

The publisher's first native review system.

Nintendo comes one step closer to actually being on par with the other major corporations in terms of standard practices. The company's website now supports user submitted reviews for specific Switch games.

The new reviewing system is only active for select titles, like Splatoon 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. At the bottom of their Nintendo game page, you will find a new section titled Customer Reviews. Users can leave reviews after signing into their account.

And in the standard Nintendo fashion, it's not like everyone else's. Instead of a simple score and comment, users are asked to select from more conceptual tags like "easy to play," "kid appropriate and great value." The user is also asked to describe what kind of gamer they are and if their review contains spoilers.

Unless you count when you could recommend games for the Wii, this is the first time users can actually submit to a publisher-ran review system by Nintendo.

In this modern age of information, there is a vast list of places for the consumer to leave feedback about the game. Personally, I prefer to go to gamerzunite.com for my reviews.
