Nintendo has decided to make life a little bit easier for the Nintendo Switch. Rather than releasing each game at a different time in every area, they want to start streamlining the process. In order to do that, it looks like they have to take a page out of Steam's playbook and start offering one digital version of every game for everywhere in the world. This means they get to do all translations on their own and they have no need for additional publishers to work with them to get every game to every region.

Nintendo has also been trying to pick up more indie games for the Switch. Reports have come in and said that Nintendo employees have been going to conventions around the world. If they see a game at one of these meetings and they really like it, they will walk directly up to the game developer and ask them if they will start developing the game for Switch. It looks like Nintendo is finally realizing the major mistakes they've made over the last few years and are actually going to market themselves very well this time around.

I feel a little bit bad for the Switch in all honesty. I think that game developers are brushing the console off a bit and people aren't trying to push their games on to the Switch. Nintendo will go out and talk to these big companies about game production on their console, but most of the major developers just say maybe and walk away. I think the Switch has a ton of potential and I really hope that Nintendo can clean up and make things work out this time around.
