The Nintendo Switch has been out for about two weeks now and it seems like everything has been going very well. The console has received great reviews and people are really loving the new product. Aside from the very limited selection of games, there does seem to be one widespread issue that has been affecting certain Switch users.

The console itself has been working incredibly well, but the issue people have been seeing is related to the brand new controller design. The Nintendo Joy-Con controllers have two removable pieces, one on each side. The little side pieces can be removed and used as wireless controllers as well.

Though it isnt clear exactly how many people are being effected by the issue, its definitely an annoying one. Basically, the left half of the Joy-Con controller will lose connection to the console when its used wirelessly. Whether its being used alone or on a grip, the connection issue is still present. This causes the controller to become unresponsive for a second or two, but some gamers have reported losing connection for up to and over 5 seconds.

I dont know how all of you feel, but to me 5 seconds of a game is a pretty significant amount of time. A lot can happen in a short 5 second span and you definitely dont want to miss it. Nintendo has addressed the issue and basically said that theyre always willing to help customers and will respond to all reports filed through their website. If youre having an issue, you can visit http://support.nintendo.com and try to get it resolved!
