Y’see, in the Switch launch game 1-2 Switch, there’s a mini-game where you have to use the switch controllers to milk virtual cows. It’s innocent enough, but apparently, the folks at Billings Farm & Museum in Vermont found it… unacceptable. So, over Facebook, they formally challenged Nintendo to a cow-milking competition:
"So Nintendo has a new game out called 1-2-Switch and we noticed it includes a cow milking game. We sent them a message inviting them out to our farm to show them how it's REALLY done and to school them at their own game. Haven't heard back yet. Maybe they're too afraid of a little challenge..."
That’s funny enough, but it gets better: Nintendo accepted, claiming that they would show up (in mud boots and all) and school the people who literally milk cows for a living on how to proper squeeze an utter.
And they’re not kidding. Polygon contacted Nintendo of America, and they confirmed: they actually are going to send people up to Vermont to participate in this challenge.
Now, this is more like it! I can’t wait to see Nintendo… well, get crushed. But the fact they’re playing along anyway is still super cool!
