Nintendo Files Trademark for SNES Controller Image in Japan

So much of SNES action!

I am hoping that, sooner or later, the SNES Mini will launch into the wild. I also hope that there won't be a major shortage of the SNES Mini. Frankly, it was one of my first consoles, and it was the first console to introduce me to the Final Fantasy series.

So to see a SNES Mini would be a dream come true for me. And it may be happening next year, as Nintendo has filed a trademark for the image of the SNES controller in Japan.

This only leads to the idea that Nintendo could very well be working on a mini version.

Let's just hope that, if that's the case, that the SNES Mini wouldn't encounter shortages.

But it's a super popular retro console... so... it probably will.
